Born in Sant Cugat del Vallès, she studied with Mati Pinkas and perfected her skills with Renata Scotto in the Academia Santa Cecilia’s Opera Studio in Rome. In 2010 won the Premio Internazionale di Santa Chiara (Naples) and the Concours International de Belcanto de Vicenzo Bellini (Paris) awards.
She has performed roles such Poussette (Manon, J. Massenet), Stéphano (Roméo et Juliette Ch. Gounod), Erste Dame and Papagena (Die Zauberflöte, W. A. Mozart), Frasquita and Micaela (Carmen, G. Bizet), Woglinde (Das Rheingold, R.Wagner, produced by La Fura dels Baus), Amirah (La princesa árabe, J.C. Arriaga), Eurydice (Orphée et Euridice, Ch.W.Glück), La madre (Don Perlimplín, V. Egea), Despina (Così fan tutte, W.A. Mozart), Inés (Il trovatore, G. Verdi) with Leo Nucci, and Isabella (Das Liebesverbot, R. Wagner) in a chamber music version in the Bayreuth Festspiele. She has starred as well in “zarzuelas” such as Bohemios (A.Vives), Cançó d’amor i de guerra (R. Martínez-Valls) and Katiuska (P. Sorozábal) in various Spanish theatres.
She has sung several oratorio, such as Mozart’s Krönungsmesse KV.317 and Requiem KV.626, Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater, J. Brahms’s Ein Deutsches Requiem or G. Fauré’s Requiem among others. Her lieder activity occupies an important space in her repertoire, being accompanied by the pianists Robert Lehrbaumer, Stanislav Angelov or Husan Park Antonia Valente and the guitarist Massimo Felici and performing in several concert halls in Spain, Germany, Finland and Italy. With the pianist Antonia Valente she participates in the concert-conference “Colors de llum marina. Paisatges musicals a l’època de Sorolla” (Palma de Mallorca, Saragossa, Lleida, Sevilla, produced by the Fundació “La Caixa”). Interested as well in the XX and XXIth repertoire, she interprets Anton Webern, Arnold Schönberg, Roland Schmidt, Agustí Charles or Ígor Lešnik. She has taken part in various internacional festivals such as the Paphos Aphrodite Festival de Xipre, the Festival Internacional Castell de Peralada and the LifeVictoria Festival in Barcelona.
As a soloist she has been accompanied by the OBC, Orquestra de la Comunitat Valenciana (OCV), Orquestra de la Comunidad de Madrid (ORCAM), Orquestra del Gran Teatre del Liceu, Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, Berlin Kammerorchester, Rencontres Musicales de Puteaux, Orchestra Città di Ferrara ONCA, Orquestra de Cadaqués, Orquestra Simfónica de Navarra, Orquestra Simfònica Julià Carbonell de les Terres de Lleida and Grupo instrumental de València and so forth. She worked with conductors such as Josep Pons, Jordi Bernàcer, Pedro Halfter, Marco Guidarini, Roberto Rizzi-Brignoli, Fausto Nardi, Rubén Gimeno or Lothar Koenigs. Concerning theatrical workds she worked with Graham Vich y Oriol Broggi.
She records for RNE, Catalunya Ràdio and Bayerische Rundfunk and has released the record L’abril ha florit with the pianist Daniel Blanch which includes some Rafael Ferrer works and was recorded in the Palau de la Música Catalana, with La mà de Guido. In 2020 she will debut in Italy with singing the role Maria in the opera Donna di veleni. This work by the composer Marco Podda will be presented in the Novara’s Teatro Coccia.
